Dr. João Carlos Cardoso Alonso graduated in Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina de Jundiaí (1999), holds a Masters and Ph.D. in Surgical Sciences from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Immunotherapy and Inflammatory Diseases at the same institution. He is a Full Member of the Brazilian Society of Urology (SBU) and currently serves as the Coordinator of the Urology Department at the Municipal Hospital of Paulínia, São Paulo. He is also the technical coordinator of Clinical Studies in Oncotherad Immunotherapy, developed by Unicamp. As a researcher at the Center for Immunotherapy and Inflammatory Diseases at Unicamp, Dr. João focuses on innovative and personalized treatments.In his private practice, Dr. João operates as a urologist in Jundiaí, São Paulo, where he consults at Alliance Day Clinic and Clínica Aliança. His clinical practice is primarily focused on urology and surgery, with an emphasis on treating diseases of the genitourinary system. He has extensive experience in surgeries, particularly in oncological procedures, focusing on the treatment of prostate, kidney, bladder, and adrenal cancers. His expertise in minimally invasive techniques, such as robotic and laparoscopic surgery, allows for advanced surgical approaches, offering high precision and reduced impact on patients.Dr. João's career is distinguished not only by his solid education and clinical practice but also by his significant contributions to immunotherapy research. He actively participates in the development of innovative solutions for the treatment of inflammatory and oncological diseases, constantly striving for excellence in urological and oncological medicine.
